This Privacy Policy explains how ReadyPaste (“the App”) handles information. We designed ReadyPaste to keep your snippets under your control.

1. Summary

• Your snippets are stored on your device.
• If you subscribe to ReadyPaste Pro and enable sync, your library may sync via your personal Apple iCloud account (CloudKit).
• We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs in the App.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

2. Information we process

Snippet library (User Content). Text you create or save (replies, email templates, addresses, links, folder names, pins, display name used for placeholders, and related settings). This content stays on your device unless you use Pro iCloud sync.

iCloud sync (Pro). When sync is used, your library is stored in your private iCloud / CloudKit database associated with your Apple ID so it can appear on your other devices. This data is linked to your Apple identity through Apple’s iCloud service.

Purchases. Subscription status is handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not collect payment card numbers or bank details.

Diagnostics. Apple may collect standard crash or performance diagnostics according to your device settings. We do not embed separate third-party crash reporters.

3. How we use information

We use the information above only for App Functionality:

• Saving, organizing, and pasting your snippets
• Applying placeholders (such as name, date, time, clipboard)
• Syncing your library across your devices (Pro)
• Unlocking Pro features you purchased

We do not use your snippet content for advertising, marketing profiles, or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Content you sync is processed through Apple iCloud/CloudKit under Apple’s terms and your Apple ID account. We do not share your snippet library with advertising networks.

5. Tracking

ReadyPaste does not use your user content for tracking as defined by Apple (we do not link it with third-party data for advertising or share it with data brokers).

6. Keyboard & Full Access

ReadyPaste includes a custom keyboard extension. To insert your snippets into other apps, iOS may require Allow Full Access. Snippets are read from the shared App Group on your device (and from your iCloud library when Pro sync is enabled). We do not use Full Access to harvest keystrokes from other keyboards or to upload typing outside your ReadyPaste library features.

7. Data retention

Local data remains until you delete snippets or remove the App. iCloud-synced data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it, disable sync and clear data, or delete the App’s iCloud data via Apple’s tools. Uninstalling the App may not automatically erase iCloud copies.

8. Children’s privacy

ReadyPaste is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your choices

• Edit or delete snippets anytime in the App.
• Turn off iCloud sync / manage iCloud data in iOS Settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

10. International users

If you use iCloud sync, Apple may process data in regions where Apple operates infrastructure, according to Apple’s policies and your account region.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are posted on this page.
